There have been many important advances and breakthroughs in the last several years directly affecting Ragdolls, that guide us in identifying genetically sound cats. These findings are vital to both strengthen and widen our gene pool. It helps identify cats that carry harmful health and potential at risk predispositions so they should not be bred. This knowledge is invaluable to reputable breeders.

Happy Kat Rags is a small Ragdoll cattery located in Southern, NH, home to Champion Ragdolls of Traditional Colors and Patterns.

We breed for health, temperament, and to the Ragdoll Breed Standard!

We believe in quality over quantity and only plan 1 to 3 litters a year.

My Ragdoll journey first began in 2001 when my mom lost her kitty after 18 years. I researched many breeds and just fell in love with the Ragdoll. I found the purrfect companion for my 90 year old mother.

I have found that Ragdolls are like potato chips, you can’t have just one !

I love the gentle personalities of the Ragdolls, their soft silky bunny fur, their mesmerizing blue eyes, and their silly antics of fetching and retrieving toys. I also love how they greet you at the door, how they help out with the household chores, and the list just goes on and on and on !!
